WESTWOOD — On her fifth call to the Ashe Center, second-year Natalie Johnson was able to secure a primary care appointment for December 2022. “I’m just feeling so blessed,” said Johnson, coughing blood into a tissue. “My roommate wanted to call an ambulance, but I told her there was no need since my appointment is right around the corner! It’s the little things like this that make such a big school feel like a family.” At press time, Johnson had received an email that her appointment may be pushed back depending on how quickly the variant after Omicron spreads.
