HOLLYWOOD — Acclaimed film director Quentin Tarantino, after losing an Academy Award to Parasite, has reportedly begun teaching himself Korean. “I thought the Academy would love a movie about white people talking about movies with other white people, and then beating up an Asian icon,” Tarantino said while throwing darts at a printed picture of Bong Joon-ho’s smiling face. “But I guess, as they say in Korea, je nun-e angyeong-ida.” At press time, Tarantino was checking if Duolingo includes racial slurs.
