WESTWOOD — In a frank conversation last Tuesday during his lower-division PS40 discussion section, second-year political science major Jake O’Brien admitted he was looking forward to finally calling all the shots at his Capitol Hill internship next quarter. “Senator Dianne Feinstein has no idea what’s coming,” said O’Brien, an active member of UCLA’s prestigious student government, the Undergraduate Student Association. “You think the House Judiciary Committee subpoenaing Trump’s family was impressive? Ha. I’m going to subpoena the entire state of Russia. Good luck getting around that, President Trump.” At press time, O’Brien was seen discussing ways to improve his grade with his TA after section.
