WESTWOOD — Sophomore biology student, Cindy Sheraton, is celebrating the opportunity of a lifetime after receiving the William F. Buckley Memorial Prize for an exceptional email sent to her French professor, en française, late Sunday night. “The first draft took me five hours,” said Sheraton, whose email asking for an extension on a quiz due the same night sent shockwaves through the French department. “My mom thought the bibliography was too much.” At press time, Sheraton was drafting her acceptance speech, which will be sent as a Clery Timely Warning to all UCLA student emails.
