WESTWOOD — At 8:00 AM this morning, physics professor Dr. Gilbert Krenshaw made a reference to the movie Ferris Bueller’s Day Off while taking attendance by saying “Bueller” in a monotone voice. “I’m glad I’m finally getting the recognition I deserve for this brilliant gag,” Krenshaw stated, stifling his own laughter. “I’ve been doing that bit since the movie came out, and it still kills! Usually when I do it for the fifth time in a quarter, my students laugh so hard they groan!” Upon finding out that several dozen of his coworkers have made the same joke, Krenshaw vowed to say it every morning to make it “even funnier.”
