WESTWOOD — UCLA seniors are taking their grad photos at the hottest spot in town: the sidewalk pit outside of CVS. “In some ways, it’s just like Royce: historical, with a picture-perfect outside and a completely unexplored interior,” said senior Margo Peters, who is having her photos taken at sunrise to avoid the CVS crowds. “But what makes it better than Royce is the sexy element of danger. Will I take the best LinkedIn profile picture Westwood has ever seen? Or will the plywood crack under my weight, sending me plummeting into the Los Angeles sewer system?” At press time, UNESCO was considering naming the sidewalk pit a world heritage site to protect it from the onslaught of students and photographers.
