
WESTWOOD — The Hill was abuzz Monday morning following a long-rumored announcement that Covel would finally be adding food to its menu. “We’ve heard your demands, and we’ve witnessed your routine stomach-pumps,” declared Bruce Pearson, general manager of Covel Residential Restaurant, to a crowd of a dozen cornered students. “UCLA is renowned for pushing the boundaries of collegiate dining, so it is with great pride that I announce this new venture into experimental, edible cuisine. We here at Covel are confident this will cement our status as the pride of dining halls located on the south-eastern portion of the Hill.” Coverage of the announcement was quickly overshadowed by De Neve Late Night’s new addition of Fryer Grease in a Bucket.
