CBS Greenlights Young Young Sheldon

NEW YORK— CBS announced this morning the development of a spin-off of the hit spin-off “Young Sheldon,” to be titled “Young Young Sheldon.” “You spent twelve years watching adult Sheldon, then seven more with adolescent Sheldon,” said showrunner Chuck Lorre, who also announced that “The Big Bang Theory” would be renamed “Old Young Sheldon.” “In ‘Young Young Sheldon,’ we explore the explosive era that was Sheldon Cooper, age four to four and a half. By the year 2035, we hope to have portrayed every moment of Sheldon’s life on screen, from his parents’ meeting to his inevitable demise.” At press time, Lorre was reportedly planning an “Avengers-level” crossover between Young Sheldon, Young Rock, and Yung Gravy.
