Student Realizes Quarantine Not The Problem

WESTWOOD — After skipping her first week of in-person classes to lie in bed and watch YouTube videos about 16th century ship-building techniques, third-year Cognitive Science student Patty McKay realized that being forced inside was not the source of her problems. “Turns out Zoom fatigue and normal fatigue are pretty much the same thing,” said McKay, after accidentally standing up without pants on despite interviewing in person. “I could’ve sworn that coming back to school would make me excited to study all day, but for some reason that sounds awful. There must be something else holding me back. Mercury retrograde?” McKay is still investigating the real source of her burnout, but she insists that everything will definitely change once COVID is gone for good.
