LOS ANGELES — Amid a flurry of sexual assault allegations, former producer Harvey Weinstein has announced he is running for president. “No one in the industry will work with me now, which pretty much limits my career options to running for president,” said Weinstein. Weinstein’s political team thinks he can appeal to America’s population that does not care if their highest office is held by a sex offender. “If we get their vote, we would lock up the electoral college for sure,” said the former industry icon. Weinstein has the historic opportunity to be the second straight entertainment mogul to win the presidency in a row.
