LAKE MICHIGAN — Last week off the shore of Lake Michigan, a father-son fishing trip took a turn for the worse when they realized that despite pop culture portrayals, nobody actually likes fishing. “Pops told me it would be great for us to spend time on the water together, but this boat is really small,” said Randy McMichaelson, vomiting his words from seasickness. “The worst part was when my dad said, ‘It’s why they call it fishing son, not catching.’ God, I hate my dad so much.” The father, Mr. McMichaelson, eventually agreed with his son after being detained for fishing without a license.
