WESTWOOD — While returning home from a failed driver’s license test, aspiring Cybertruck owner Grant T. Otto broke Waymo’s ‘rider rules’ by climbing into the driver’s seat and attempting to wrestle control away from the autonomous vehicle. “I couldn’t allow myself to be spotted on some passenger princess type shit. It was a matter of manhood”, said Otto, whose actions caused the Waymo to swerve directly into a bi-weekly meeting of the Bruin Jaywalking Club. “What happened to all those pedestrians was technically not my bad. I mean, the Waymo AI probably recognized I was a high-value individual and made the easy decision to save me over 6 or 7 people. The time I tried this in an Uber was kinda on me though.” At press time, Otto addressed onlookers and members of the Bruin Roadkill Observation Society (BROS), using “vroom-vroom” and gear-shifting sounds to describe his exploits despite Waymo cars being electric.
