WESTWOOD — Following calls from upperclassman students to make food on the Hill more accessible, UCLA Dining will now be accepting Webkinz World’s “Kinzcash” along with swipes and meal vouchers. “We’re proud to be supporting the growth of cryptocurrency,” said Kogi Korean BBQ’s Maya Wilmey, hiding a fully functioning cash register in her refrigerator. “Unfortunately, we do not have the technology to accept cash, credit cards, and other unorthodox payment methods at this time.” UCLA Dining is working on expanding its payment options to include NeoPoints and PopCash by 2022.
