Promising Economics Student Sadly Drops Out of UCLA

WESTWOOD — On Wednesday, the UCLA community was saddened when prominent economics student Joshua Rosen decided to take leave from the university. “We wish Mr. Rosen the best in exploring other avenues in his life during this trying time,” said an official release from the economics department’s site. “During his time here, Mr. Rosen was always recognized as an enterprising student,” it said, adding that “Mr. Rosen even achieved status amongst his peers, some calling him the ‘Chosen Rosen’, possibly because of his actuarial prowess.” When asked, peers too commented on his love of sports, and hoped he could continue to practice his favorite hobby outside of UCLA.
