Dune: Part Two Beats Out Magic Mike To Become Highest Grossing Film To Feature A Massive Worm

LOS ANGELES — With a stunning $500 million domestic box office revenue, Denis Villenueve’s Dune: Part Two has passed Magic Mike’s $167 million revenue to become the highest grossing film to feature a massive worm. “It’s clear to us that audiences love massive worms, and for Dune 2 I nearly quintupled the amount of worms per minute compared to the first Dune,” reported Villenueve, who chose lead actor Timothée Chalamet after hearing about his time at NYU. “We took a lot of inspiration from the monumental films that came before us, from Saltburn to Tremors to Magic Mike, and we think we’ve hit the nail on the head with our massive worms. We hope to bring in Channing Tatum for the third installment in the trilogy to get someone with some real worm experience.” At press time, Tatum declared himself Lisan al Gaib after conquering one of the Dune 2 popcorn buckets.
