WESTWOOD – Third-year John Smith was aroused and afraid when his HIST 13B discussion devolved into an orgy. “I didn’t want to lose participation points, so I jumped right in,” said Smith, who got extra points for passing the oral exam. “It was one of the best icebreakers I’ve ever seen. The TA had complete control over the room.” At press time, Smith was going to his professor’s office hours for “extra credit.”
