TA Worried Strike Will Impact Weapons Manufacturing Job

WESTWOOD — As another TA strike seems imminent, some graduate students are more hesitant to support the cause. “It’s not like these foreign wars have anything to do with me,” said engineering PhD student Ray Theo Ahn, who has spent the last two summers optimizing civilian targeting systems at various defense contracting companies. “I wrote this one algorithm they really liked; it can locate someone’s entire family just by their McDonald’s order. I wouldn’t be able to tell you what they use it for, but goddamit, my dental plan is out of this world.” At press time, Ahn was seen sending his algorithm to Gene Block for any future encampments.
