WESTWOOD – UCLA Professor Barclay Hughes, renowned expert in 12th century steelwork and author of numerous foundational papers in the field, appeared almost childlike in lecture as he attempted to screen share his slides. “Now, if this damned machine was just an archaic text, I would be able to figure it out just fine,” said Professor Hughes, holding a magnifying glass to the screen. “Can one of you young people please tell me where the button is? Once I get this working I’ll be able to give you all your GPA-defining midterm.” At press time, Professor Hughes was unable to give any further comment, as he could not figure out how to unmute.
