Surprise! People Are Exiting The Elevator You’re About To Enter

WESTWOOD — First-year urban planning major Jimmy Johnson was shocked to find that there were people exiting the Rieber Hall elevator when it reached the lobby. “I didn’t realize anyone used the elevators, so I stood as close to the door as humanly possible, stretching my arms and legs out like an X,” Johnson said as he attempted to pry the doors open when the elevator reached floor one. “I’ve got to get into the elevator as soon as the doors open so I can press all the buttons, lighting them up like a Christmas Tree! Besides, it gives me more time to flip off the security camera and press the ‘close doors’ button thirty times as others still enter.” At press time, Johnson was seen pressing the button for floor two.
