Opinion: No, Your Shared Spotify Playlist With Your Ex Is Not A Subliminal Message

I know what it’s like to go through a break up. I understand the urge to read into their every Instagram like and Bitmoji location change. But trust me, your ex is not trying to communicate with you through a shared Spotify playlist (with a description in all lowercase). Sure, they added “I Miss You” by Blink-182 to the playlist after you broke up, but that was months ago! And honestly, it is a really good song. The “NOT KIDDING FREESTYLE” by Lil Zil a week later was probably just an accident too. Yes, it’s purely a coincidence that “Take Me Back“ and “Destiny” by NEFFEX seem to have been uploaded a few days ago back to back and, would you look at that! It has your name in it. But nope, nothing going on there. “fOoL fOr YoU” was probably meant for his Zayn playlist, to be honest. I really hope you take my advice this time so I won’t have to plant any more hair ties and bobby pins in his car.
