LOS ANGELES—Sources report that the moms of the Rancho Palos Verdes area all congregated at Susan’s house and discussed a book briefly before consuming multiple bottles of wine this past Thursday. “The book for this month was Eat, Pray, Love and it just really spoke to me. Normally, we briefly just share our opinions and then drink, but I felt compelled to print out some discussion questions for this one,” said Carol, who noted she was able to extend the book’s discussion past the 30-minute mark. “Afterwards we cracked open a fruit forward pinot noir with a medium body and an raspberry aroma which went really well with the grilled salmon that we had.” At press time, Carol was seen planning what wine and food pairings would go well together for the next meeting.
