WESTWOOD — Last weekend, people lined up around the block for the grand opening of Westwood’s hottest new empty storefront. “When the family-owned restaurant that was in this space for 30 years shut down, I was kind of sad, but I’m so glad that there’s absolutely nothing to replace it!” shared fourth-year Labor Studies major Jen T. Fryer, who had been waiting in line to see the space’s new pop-up: a nest of raccoons that had collected discarded Fat Sal’s sandwiches. “When I was choosing colleges, it was really important for me that the surrounding area had zero nightlife, one trivia bar, and twelve corporate coffee chains in a one-mile radius. It’s a dream come true!” At press time, the empty storefront had unfortunately shut down due to rent increases.
