WESTWOOD — As the three day partying event known colloquially as “Halloweekend” approaches, students and the demonic creatures that lurk in the back of their minds and the depths of their souls look forward to fun. “I’m so excited to see everyone’s costumes—and to revel in the fountains of blood upon which we shall feast,” said third-year History student Chris Angle and Xoth’temuth, the carnage and beer pong loving demon who shares his body. “I think I’m gonna be a lifeguard, but there’s a voice in the back of my head telling me to dress in the ceremonial black velvet robes of the Antichrist’s followers. Either way, I’m gonna get smashed.” Many people in the area also plan to enjoy a night at home with horror classics like Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Passion of the Christ.
