LOS ANGELES – While waiting for the Tyler, the Creator concert to begin, one indie kid made it his life’s mission to record the entire show on his Nintendo 3DS. “Other than playing Clash of Clans with the volume up, this is the best way to fully immerse myself in the music,” said third-year DesMA major Kyle Drainington while shoving his way past shorter women to secure a spot at the barricade. “The grainy video with blown-out audio really embodies early 2010s nostalgia, that reckless lust for life we all crave. I can’t wait to mosh with this in my hand – Tyler’s going to see me and know I embody the spirit of ‘Chromakopia’.” At press time, Drainington was seen frantically tweeting after the show asking if anyone had clear footage.
