WESTWOOD — Students living in De Neve Holly woke up in a fright yesterday as they encountered flash flooding, humidity, and massive rain storms throughout the hallways. “This is Los Angeles – I only brought my flip flops and tank tops! I’m not prepared for any weather events!” cried first-year transfer Katrina Tortilla, using a copy of the Daily Bruin to shield herself from the intense downpour. “I chose UCLA because of the beautiful sunny vibes, and now you’re telling me I have to buy an umbre… an umbrella??!! Curse you, Hurricane Holly!” At press time, Katrina had attempted to dry her sopping wet clothes in the laundry room to no avail as the dryer was broken.
