WESTWOOD — This morning, students all over campus had their peace interrupted by the biggest dweeb around asking if they knew what day it was. “Can you say the date? Like in numbers? Like say the full date in numbers minus the year?” repeated fourth-year Applied Math major Lou Surr, pushing a pair of thick glasses impossibly far up their nose bridge. “It’s important to me that people know that it’s a pretty big day for us gifted people. I mean, not everyone knows the first three digits of pi, and it’s up to me to educate them.” At press time, Lou had begun rattling off the digits of pi to a rapidly shrinking crowd.
