WESTWOOD — The undergraduate student government election board issued a sanction Wednesday.
Todd From Beta, a candidate running for Campus Events Commissioner, was sanctioned for selling beer and spirits at a campaign tailgate without a liquor license.
The Election Code states that candidates may not sell alcohol at any campaign events without obtaining a liquor license from the City of Los Angeles.
The board has prevented Todd From Beta from campaigning from 11 AM to 2 PM on Thursday, and has ordered an adult chaperone to supervise all of his campaign events until the election concludes on Friday. Further, the Interfraternity Council at UCLA has placed Todd on social probation until further notice.
