WESTWOOD — The undergraduate student government election board issued a sanction Monday.
Skirball Fire, a candidate running for general representative, was sanctioned for re-erupting in the hills adjacent to UCLA, proceeding to burn down seven buildings in a blatant act of intimidation against its rival candidates.
The Election Code states that candidates are prohibited from unsafe campaigning and employing intimidation tactics.
The board has prevented Skirball Fire from campaigning for the entirety of Tuesday and has ordered it to extinguish all active flames by 11:59 Monday night.
