LOS ANGELES — On Sunday, the University of Southern California’s Annoying Lame Students club (ALS) launched the ‘Boiling Water Challenge,’ a viral trend which aims to raise awareness for how to kill yourself through pouring boiling water on your head. “Mental health is one of the biggest problems facing our society today, so we launched this challenge to end mental health once and for all,” said vice president of ALS Zoe Loftus, who was voted ‘Most Likely To Become A Licensed Therapist’ in her homeschool superlatives. “The original ice bucket challenge used ice-cold water to replicate the feeling of having a disease I can’t remember the name of. We chose boiling water for our challenge to replicate the feeling of being burned alive and then dying.” At press time, the fourth most annoying person you follow on Instagram tagged you in their challenge attempt.
