In lieu of impending ecological collapse, UCLA continues to closely monitor the New South Wales Bushfires in accordance with the Australian government. There are currently no significant changes. The fire remains west of the 405 Freeway and we feel it poses no immediate threat to our Australian brethren. After careful consideration, we have determined that air quality is now listed as moderate. Air quality levels may fluctuate throughout the day and if conditions worsen, individuals in sensitive groups, including older adults, children, and koalas, should reduce outdoor activities. We will continue to monitor the apocalypse and update the community when necessary.
