WESTWOOD — As a celebration of the Lunar New Year, the Westwood Neighborhood Council has approved the addition of a 24th new boba shop in the Westwood Village area. “In honor of the Asian Americans in our community, we want a boba shop on every corner- and also in every spot in between those corners,” said Neighborhood Councilwoman Cheryl Anderson, before spitting out the ice cubes from her drink because they were squishy and brown. “We’ve got so much planned for the year of the tiger. Keep your eyes peeled for a fourth location of Northern Cafe within a two-mile radius!” At press time, Anderson was spotted in line for Panda Express at Ackerman Union after claiming to “really be in the mood for something authentic.”
