LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas entertainment industry suffered a devastating loss this past weekend when a strong gust of wind sent the world-famous Sphere rolling down the Strip, decimating a collection of premier strip clubs and casinos before ultimately disappearing into the sunset. “At first, I thought it was a tumbleweed ‘cause, you know, we’re in the desert. But then I saw one of the members of U2 fly out the side of the damn thing!” reported high-rolling witness Caesar Spallice, as he dispensed $25,000 into a Flappy Bird themed slot machine. “Man, it’s going to be real hard to sleep without the comfort of a 370 foot LED light display reflecting off the walls of my apartment.” At press time, the Sphere was discovered to be mingling with other multicolored balls backstage at the Bellagio’s Chippendales show.
