Student Becomes Disability Rights Advocate After His Midterms Shift To In-Person

WESTWOOD — A tireless new advocate for disability rights has emerged at UCLA in the form of fourth-year Jordan Jortson, who recently found out his midterms were going to be in-person. “Being given the study guide for my chemistry exam truly awoke me to the negligence of this UCLA administration,” said Jortson, speaking from a disability rights “fundraiser” he was hosting alongside 50 of his closest friends in his sixth-floor walk-up. “If it comes down to a choice between my GPA and the immunocompromised, I would have to stand up for the most vulnerable. But someone should definitely help the immunocompromised too.” When asked for an official statement on the matter, Jortson called the decision to return to in-person learning “r*******.”
