Safety Legends! This Restaurant Switched Their Food To QR Codes

LOS ANGELES — Public health officials clapped when local restaurant Joe’s Burgers, already having replaced its paper menus with QR codes, doubled down on safety by replacing its food with QR codes, too. “It was tough for customers to eat with their masks on,” explained owner Joe Berger, inventor of the Joe Burger Joe Style and the Joe Momma Burger. “Also, our decision matrix showed us that this way no one can get food poisoning. Or type 2 diabetes—safety first, people. Also, our cooks really wanted to work from home.” At press time, Berger announced his franchise’s new flagship offering, the Joe Burger NFT Style.
