Professor Denied Tenure After Falling For Student’s Ligma Joke

WESTWOOD — Henry Bones, assistant professor within UCLA’s anthropology department, was denied tenure this weekend after a student got him so good with a “ligma” joke. “Although Dr. Bones was incredibly popular with students and up-and-coming in his field, we simply could not overlook him getting pranked that hard,” said Artie Fact, head of Bones’ tenure promotion committee and Imagine Dragons fan. “Every qualified professor knows that when a student asks about the Ligma et al. reading during office hours, you don’t ask who that is–especially when that student says their name is Candace.” Bones was too busy spelling ICUP to provide a comment at press time.
