Inclusivity Win! BPlate Adds Intermittent Fasting Option By Removing Breakfast Meal Periods

WESTWOOD — Residential dining hall Bruin Plate has decided to close its doors during all breakfast meal periods due to pressure from student members of the Intermittent Fasting community. “UCLA says that it has the best and most inclusive food in the nation, but all I see are vegan, vegetarian, Halal, Kosher, nut-free, and gluten-free options — our community is tired of not having fasting options at dining halls,” said third year sociology major Marie Eaton, who needed to take a break from the interview after getting dizzy every couple of minutes. “In fact, this is actually a positive for those who prefer more food. BPlate will distribute more resources across lunch and dinner periods. Now, students will be able to request an extra tater tot if they are particularly famished.” At press time, BPlate officials were seen holding hearings with the Flat Earth Society and considering the removal of all round food items.
